SkinVive by Juvéderm is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable for improving cheek skin smoothness, and in 2026 it was also approved to improve horizontal neck lines. Your injector places tiny droplets of hyaluronic acid across the treatment area to attract hydration and smooth texture from within. It's a great fit for skin that looks dull, dry or crepey, and it won't add volume or change your facial shape.

What is SkinVive?

Where can SkinVive be used?
SkinVive is FDA-approved to improve cheek skin smoothness and, as of 2026, horizontal neck lines in adults 21 and older. Your injector will recommend the right areas for your goals.
How long do results last?
Results can last up to 6 months. Most clients notice smoother, more hydrated skin within the first few weeks, and many plan a repeat treatment around the six-month mark to maintain results.
Does it hurt?
SkinVive contains lidocaine, a numbing agent, to keep you comfortable. Most clients describe it as very manageable, and the appointment takes about 30 minutes.
Is there downtime?
Most clients return to their day right away. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, small bumps or bruising at the injection sites are common and usually resolve within about two weeks.
What's the difference between SkinVive and Botox?
